9th-11th Grade Students
(2025-2026)
We offer services for 9th-11th grade students nationwide. We meet with parents to discuss the specific needs of their child as it pertains to college admissions and scholarships. Our goal is to prepare students for their 12th-grade year of applying to college, which includes attaining scholarships.
Our workshops are held on a one-on-one basis with Dr. Chambers and parents and/or students. The workshops are 1 hour each and are held over Zoom. Parents must choose two topics per workshop. See the topics below:

Getting Ready! How to Best Prepare for Selective College Admissions and Merit-Based Scholarships: Covers topics of GPA, standardized test scores, community service, and extracurricular activities

What’s Next? Learn Details of the College Admissions Process: Covers topics such as the process of creating a diversified college list, choosing a suitable major, and understanding admissions policies as in test-optional options

Money, Money, Money! Understanding the Scholarship Process: Covers topics of merit-based vs. need-based scholarships, federal financial aid, and various institutional, state, national, and local scholarship options

Power to the Pen! Writing Admissions and Scholarship Essays: Covers strategies of writing admissions and scholarship essays to include integrating details, creative approaches, and clarity of voice
12th Grade Students
(2025-2026)
We offer a variety of services for 12th-grade students nationwide. These services include the following:
- All-Star Comprehensive Program (10 months) [Full as of 7/29]
- Fall Admissions Cohort (5 months) [Full as of 7/29]
- One-on-One Family Strategy Call: This Zoom meeting is for families of Class of 2026 seniors to gain information about the admissions and scholarship process. Dr. Chambers will meet one-on-one with the family to discuss topics such as the college list, merit-based scholarship options, and essay writing strategies. [Closed as of 11/15]
Open Services
- One-On-One Scholarship Strategy Services:
- Scholarship Strategy Session: This 45-minute meeting is for families of Class of 2026 seniors to gain information on the best strategies for approaching scholarships (merit and need-based). We will discuss state, local, and national scholarships along with essay writing approaches.
- Review of Core Scholarship Essays: This packaged service includes the review of common scholarship essays. This includes the Career Essay, Community Service Essay, Extra-Curricular Essay, Personal Statement, and the Funding Essay. Students will receive feedback on their essays in the form of comments and tracked changes, and will be supported until the drafts are fully completed.
- Individualized Reviews of College Scholarship Essays: This option is for reviews of individual college essays only, instead of the packaged service above.
- Access to Scholarship List: This service is only for seniors in the Charlotte and Concord, North Carolina areas. Seniors will have access to a running list of national, state, and local scholarships until May 31st.
- Video Interview Prep: This service is for students who are finalists/semi-finalists for competitive scholarships. Students will receive assistance with body language, providing clear and direct responses, and with tips on how to stand out.

Graduate Students
We offer a variety of services for aspiring graduate students. We assist students with finding programs to apply, preferably fully funded, and developing personal statements.
We offer an organized program for aspiring graduate students who are intending to attend graduate school full-time. This program involves the identification of graduate programs, assistance with all writing samples, and instruction on how to identify sources of funding. We also offer the individual review of personal statements, statements of purpose, and research statements. We have worked with students within a variety of fields, including physical therapy, clinical psychology, journalism, English, food science, medical science, and speech pathology.
